MISSION

 
CYBERSEC is the first in Poland and one of the few annual public policy conferences in Europe dedicated to the strategic aspects of cyberspace and the global technological revolution. Our aim is to increase cybersecurity in the EU, NATO and their member states in various sectors of the economy.

CYBERSEC CEE FORMULA

 
CYBERSEC has already established its presence in Krakow, Warsaw, Brussels and Washington D.C. In 2019, we will continue to channel the Community’s energy into producing actionable, ground-breaking reports and recommendations that will shape policies and secure the world’s digital DNA. This year, CYBERSEC is expanding its formula to mark its 5th anniversary.
 
CYBERSEC CEE will consist of a series of formats and events targeting a full spectrum of cybersecurity actors and dimensions in an effort to secure the world’s digital DNA in the most collaborative and inclusive manner possible.

CYBERSEC CEE 2019 is still CYBERSEC FORUM

– a conference with increasing recognition and a major brand. As in previous years, the event will be framed around four streams:

STATE STREAM
The creation and implementation
of the most important public policies,
strategies and regulations to advance secure digital transformation
and to protect democracy, thus advancing the goals
set in the Paris Call

DEFENCE STREAM
Expanding military cooperation and innovation
in the defence sector as a response to an emerging
dimension for cyber and hybrid conflicts

FUTURE STREAM
The security challenges of implementing emerging technologies
like Artificial Intelligence, 5G, quantum computing,
and blockchain for the global economy
and information society

BUSINESS STREAM
The emerging role of the private sector
in keeping cyberspace safe;
the main challenges and the regulatory framework

This year, the CYBERSEC format has been revamped to include an even wider array of events and workshops addressed to various groups:


SECURING THE WORLD'S DIGITAL DNA



CYBERSEC EXPO– the biggest cybersecurity trade fair
in Central and Eastern Europe that will bring global expertise
on the emerging cybersecurity threats and offer a unique opportunity
to present the latest cutting-edge solutions
CYBERSEC REGIONS & CITIES– representatives of selected
innovation centres for cybersecurity will come
to Poland for networking and sharing best practice mechanisms
with CEE regions and cities that are now lagging
behind in building Digital Innovation Hubs for cybersecurity

CYBERSEC WOMEN– a one-day event dedicated to women
in the ITC industry. It is a response
to the European Commission’s initiatives that focus
on boosting women’s participation in digital and technology
sectors by recommending actions
to create national strategy blueprints
CYBERSEC for DEVELOPMENT– a closed working session
that will discuss the possibilities for supporting cyber
capability building through best practices
sharing and know-how transfer between public as well
as private actors. It will bring together
government representatives, law enforcement agencies,
cybersecurity experts and companies from countries
with a mature level of digital transformation as well
as those eager to learn from their experience,
mostly from developing regions

CYBERSEC for YOUTH– an educational workshop programme
aimed at people aged 13–19 that is designed
to increase their online security in relation
to data privacy and protection
of IT systems and IT devices
CYBERSEC for SENIORS – a workshop programme for
people aged 55+ that aims to overcome seniors’ resistance
to using Internet resources and modern
technologies and, at the same time,
to form cyber-savvy browsing habits
